Income tax act rebate u/s 89

Kindly tell about income tax act rebate u/s 89 in details, weather assesses can calculate year wise calculation himself or from department. He can fill ITR BY SUBMITTING 10A TO INCOME TAX ON-LINE & GET REBATE U/S 89 .KINDLY PUBLISH THESE REBATE IN DETAILS SO THAT INDIVIDUAL ASSESSES CAN GET THE BENEFIT OF 89 ACT OF OLD ARREARS RECEIVED IN CURRENT YEARS.

If any individual receive any portion of his salary in arrears or in advance or profits in lieu of salary 17(3), he or she can claim relief under section 89(1) of Income Tax Act, 1961. Any Resident Individual whose taxable income is lower than exemption limit to entitled a rebate of Certain amount.

To claim the benefits under section 89(1), filing Form 10E is mandatory. You can file this form online on the income tax e-filing portal. To access the form, you must log in to your account.
