Insurance of client's records

Dear Friends,

Disposal of cases in courts take decades. Till then maintenance and security of case files is a major headache of the Advocate. He has also to spare the time, money and space for protection of records from various causes viz. mousse , humidity, dust etc.  At the High Court level, an individual  client normally pays only when he files the case  and he presumes that he has paid entire fee may the case be disposed of within week or after decades. I am thinking apply a system in my office that

“at the time of engagement  or after issuance of notices to opposite parties, there should be an agreement/understanding between advocate and client that the client will pay a sum, say, Rs 100/- at quarterly rest, on account of maintenance and security of his records till disposal of his case.”

Kindly give your opinion about feasibility and legality of the this system.
