India had what can be ascribed as "Preventive crime processes". These operated through techniques that have come to be called "Mind reading". It is only now that science accepts "Mind Mapping". Despite being a big country, India never had police stations and we were by and large a peaceful nation.

All said and done, India has made a mistake by having peeled away our time tested systems to make way for rules that govern Britain and its administration.
