LAnd lord not returning the deposit

Dear Sir,

I have paid Rs 100000 as rental deposits, I have informed the landlord on phone  last week that I will be vacating the premise by the end of this month. Today, when I spoke to him , he started saying that for you I suffered loss & to verify what are the damages being done. His intention seems to be wrong. Pls help, what are the legal remedies avaailable to me, as I will be leaving the city by the end of this month. Agreement was registered in Thane & was on the basis of leave & licence. I have been staying in this premise from last two month. Today, he also removed my name plate pasted on ground floor. Pls help urgently.
