As a general rule, you are liable for those debts you incur.

Usually, a person is responsible only for his or her own debts. So if you did not sign the contract or loan agreement for your spouse's debt, you usually would not have to pay that debt. The good news regarding marital finances is that any debt your wife incurred before you got married is her sole responsibility.

Husband neither enitile to pay his wife's dabt nor entitle to get punished for his wife's crime.

No any Husband is not liable for any work of his wife as both are seperate legal entities. But ofcourse yes after the death of his wife if he is inheriting any property of her whether moveable of immovable he has to pay her liabil;ities also it is the legal principle that all the rights also carry liabilities too.

So during the life time of his wife there is no liability on the husband's head.

In the present scenario the husband is not responsible for any act done this way by the wife.  It is not legally binding on him.  She only is held liable  for her own debts.  Question of family debts are not involved in it.
