Im staying in a bldg which is illegal in all ways as per the laws of Thane Municiipal Corporation. No OC has been given to us till date, but we occupied the place 15yrs ago. No AD-HOC COMMITTEE / SOCIETY is formed. Now a new occuapncy has moved in and has made a MANAGING COMMITTEE with two other owners and started amending the bldg, as painting the ineriors of the bld, putting up name plate board, etc etc and has named self PRESIDENT of the Managing Committee. IS THIS LEGAL or can we take CIVIL / CRIMINAL ACTION on this ??? Now they are deciding to collect 10,000 from each flat owner without proper receipt or any project in hand,
