Mismatch of survey number in document and chitta

Hi, My mom bought a house in 2003. We are trying to get a patta for that now. We are not able to get the patta as there is a mismatch of survey number in document and chitta. In the document, the survey number is mentioned as 47, in the ec seller record is also coming in 47. But in chitta, the seller name is coming under 37. Can anyone please suggest the solution for this. Thanks in advance.

Start from the beginning.

Make the first document as your base and compare it with all other records. Wherever you find a discrepancy, apply for rectification. its simple procedure, although time-consuming.

Obtain a copy of the correct Survey number with door No. in the records of Panchayat/Municipality with the name of the original owner.  So you have to obtain and verify old documents from the previous owners.  If found, then request your seller to rectify the mistake by registering it before the Registering Authority concerned.
