some of my friends are pursuing Phd for last many years.
they prepare thier drafts of chapter of their thesis and to give to their guide. their guide doesn't check them and doesn't give any suggestion.
my friends are making theire effort from many years. but their guide is showing negligence toward them.
my friends are ready to accept feed back from guide, they are ready to work hard and submit their thesis. but their guide is not cooperating them.
my friends are wasting their time and energy and getting nothing in return. they are very frustrated.
here my queries are:
whether there are any rules regualtion that can help my friends to complete their thesis work?
are there any legal remedy that can prevent the exploitation of PhD scholars from thier guide?
are there any rules /regulation under which some action can be taken against guide or research scholar ( who really doesn't work)
please guide me
