Notice u/s 138 NI Act - Imapct on limitation

Notice for dishonour of cheque sent to the accountholder. The notice returned back with note by the postal authorities as follows:-


1) "adressee out of station for 7 days, hence, returned to sender"


2) "adressee refused to take delivery of letter, hence returned to sender"


What will be the impact on the period of limitation in both the above cases?

In the above cirumctances notice is deemed served. Limitation shall start from the date of endorsement by postal authorities.
