RAMESH KISANI (Managing Director)     28 January 2013

Order passed by dy registrar of co-op societies not honoured

I Filed Appeal u/sec. 22(2) of Maharashtra Co-Op Socities Act, 1960 against our C. H. S. for not admitting myself as the Member of the CHS. Dy Registrar of Co-Op. Societies Mumbai passed Order, admitting me as the lawful Member of the CHS and directed the C H S to record my name as the Member of the CHS within 15 days from receiving the Order, without conducting any special meeting or GB meeting. But even after lapse of 30 days, the Managing Committee Members have not acted upon the directions passed by Dy Registrar and disregarded that Order.

Please inform what legal action - Civil and / or criminal - can I pursue further against the Society and all its Managing Committee Members? Can I approach the Consumer Court as well?
