Procedure of 498a

My wife has filed 498A against all the members of my family which include myself, father, mother and brother. Its a cooked up case and Police has understood our innocence and crookedness of my wife's people. Now Police(an ASI is in charge of this case) has assured me that when he send report he will remove names of other family members except me. He will send the report to ACP. My doubt is that as the case is still in the court do police have the power to remove the names of convicted from the report?

Hi Sam use the new law by Supreme Court rule 41. Take a good advise and if you are in Delhi try to see if fir filed or not. Take AB if fir file. Don't trust on cops on these cases

Police can easily remove the names of your family members but not you...
