Public interest litigation-through letter or by advocate?

Please suggest, whether I should forward a Public Interest Litigation matter to Supreme Court through letter or it should be filed through advocate in the best interest of public. Matter is associated with large number of public......thanks & Regards

you can file it in your High court even through letter also

You can also try it through Legal Services Authority.

Whether Letter is addressed to Chief Justice of High Court or Chief Justice of India, Supreme Court ?

Regarding Public Interest Litigation, Courts are taking stringent action if the petition is found to be not worth to be taken up.  Instead of straight away trying to file the ptitition in the form of PIL, please explore the possibility of discussing the matter with a proper Advocate who has handled good number of PILs.

@SIVARAMAPRASAD KAPPAGANTU......thanks for your valuable comment, i am quite sure for my PIL matter but even after that i want to consult with lawyer in the best interest of large number of people.
