Rectification deed for settlement

Sir,

My father give me settlement last year, he purchased property at 1986, in schedule boundaries mistakenly typed north to south is 60ft but it has been typed as 40ft, I have plan layout and in one encumbrance certificate correct. How to proceed rectify this document. How much stamp duty i want pay, stamp paper and registration charge in Tamilnadu.

You should have to made a "Rectification Deed" for rectifying the defects made in the original deed. It requires minimum charges as stamp duty. No problem. Go to sub-registrar office and get it.
