Relinquishment deed

My father died recently so we want to transfer the immovable property in his name to my mother. My grand parents both grand father and grand mother are alive.

Please let me know who will be the legal heirs needed for the execution of the relinquishment deed.

since your father had died intestate his self aquired property will devolve equally on his mother, wife and children who are class one heirs.so if you want to mutate the property solely on your mothers name then you and your grandmother must relinguish your rights over the property by executing a registered relinguishment deed in favour of your mother

My father had purchased the property from my grand mother through a registered sale deed. The second property is self acquired by my father during his lifetime. Does it mean in both cases, my grandmother need to relinquish her share?
