Right to equality??????

A  government servant is not allowed to do anything which is profitable to him except the work which is provided to him by his concerned government department, then, why government doctors are allowed to practise privately for their own profit.

Isn’t this a violation of right to equality guaranteed to Indian citizens  under article 14 of the Indian constitution??????

Off course it is violation of right of equality.  I think Govt., doctors are also barred by doing private practice, but they are doing it in their wives name to avoid this problem.
