is it correct The RTI Act does not cast on the public authority any obligation to answer queries with prefixes, such as why, when, what and whether.. But actually under RTI , A citizen of indian person seek an in information about which he/she expected ... In the persuade sentence of that "RTI Act does not cast on the public authority any obligation to answer queries with prefixes, such as why, when, what and whether". Sir, Actually I have submitted a request under RTI about What the relaxation recruitment policies..why the circle office neglected director orders and why the circle office granted the appointments of GDS POSTS to the dependent of regular employee under compassionate grounds to against of DOP&T rules. So the concerned CPIO given a reply after two months..and that too mentioned above objection of no answer to the quarries of what, when,why.... Please give a clarity..

Submit an appeal to the next higher authority within 30 days from the receipt of reply from the PIO.

1.  RTI does not permit "answers to questions".  You may prefer to re-pharse your RTI application, asking for documents relating to your query.


2.  Under RTI, you may ask for available "public documents", that are in custody of that dept., /officer.
