Seeking resolution for ongoing dispute with non-compliant apartment owner and legal threats

I am from Coimbatore and currently serve as the secretary of our apartment association. Two months ago, one of the apartment owners poured water in the common areas near the lift and staircase. This caused disturbances, especially to children, elderly residents, and a pregnant lady, due to the noise in the affected areas.

We called a general meeting to address the issue, but the owner did not attend. Instead, four days later, she sent an advocate's letter to the association with false allegations, relying on her father, a criminal lawyer, to support her. She has since been threatening the association. In response, we provided a truthful reply and filed a complaint at the nearby police station for our safety.

Currently, she is not following the apartment's rules and regulations, while all other residents are complying. She and her father are now threatening to file a case in the Magistrate Court.

What actions can the association take against this owner? Should we continue responding to their advocate's letters, or is there a more effective solution to stop this ongoing issue?

Are the minutes of the General Body discussed against the lady owner recorded in the minutes register?  If recorded file the minutes filed before the Dy./Jt. Registrar of Cooperative Housing Societies or not?  If not sent, now send the same to the Registrar concerned with sufficient reason for delay in filing the minutes.  You may defend the false allegations made by her through a lawyer in your area.

If you have already given a criminal complaint against her in the police station you may follow it .

If she threatens to approach magistrate court, you may not have to be worried on that, instead engage the services of an experienced lawyer and challenge their false cases.
