I am a residence of mumbai. I have a house with one of its rooms having a window facing the road side. I have plans of opening a general stores or some shop for carrying out some small business. For that I am planing to break the room window and convert the room into some shop. What are the legal formalies that I will need to follow.

NOC from CHS is required as well as NOC from MCGM is required as well as registration Shop and Establishment act is also required as the premises will be used for commercial purpose.
