My Father & we are Live in Flat is my uncle name & My uncle & his family live in My Father name flat from last 25 year. Both are same in size & price. now we wan't to transfer flat name for legal I.e mean my father & uncle name name is transfer internaly. we paid stamp duty in 1992 for one flat & other flat is 1978 construction so there is no stamp duty for that flat.
1 is any stamp duty for internal transfer of flat in blood relation?
2 One vakil said there is stamp duty on as gift tax, other said no stamp duty, & other said which flat price is more just pay difference.
3 We Just exchange property then why is stamp duty as we pay once?
4 Both Flat in Mumbai only same area but different building.
