Steps to taking legal action against web development company

I'm an Australian business and have been engaging with an Indian web developer for the past 18mths.

They were supposed to deliver web and application based components for my business within an original timeframe of 4 mths that was per their proposal and subsequent email communication.

Sadly the site is completely inefficient with excessive errors and bugs and still no applications have been completed.

They are now incredibly difficult to communicate with.

Would really appreciate some advice on avenues I can take to retrieve monies paid as they have not delivered as promised and I have a site that is almost unusable.

Many thanks.

You have executed agreement with company or jsut issued P.O without terms and conditions.

In absence of binding terms you can do nothing

In case you entered into contract with web company than terms and conditions of contract can be enforced and damages can be claimed.
