Requesting some info with regards to vacating a client.
The lease agreement is for 3 years, almost 2 years are done, one more year is left.
The property has two houses, one 2bhk house which is leased out to this tenant in ground floor and 1st floor has 3 bhk which is vacant since a year because the this tenant wife in whose name the lease is made says false stories to who ever come on 1st floor that some ghost is there, water is not comming properly , there are graves burried below the house etc etc. so not able to find the tenant and who ever comes vacate it due to harrasment from this lady.
So we wanted to break the lease which has a clause that either party can give 3 months notice to break the lease.
since past 9 months or so the tenant says this and that stories and that they not able to find the house they will vacate the house after some days etc. a year has passed.
now when we go to his house to ask him to vacate, he is treatening to call the police. kindly advice how to proceed and how long will that take. thank you.
