One of my colleagues is spreading some rumors about me in the office because of which I lost a really good job offer. I want to file a defamation case against him but I don’t have any evidence against him. What should I do?

If the defamation essential elements are found and satisfied then you can engage the services of an advocate and first issue a legal notice demanding apologies and compensation.
Failing to comply with the conditions you may proceed legally against him.
