Urgent need kindly help law professionals?

About Case: (apology for long writing but do help me)

I have booked one self drive car (not to be disclose) for 19th FEB 2024. While booking I have shared my my DL number and after few hours I received the confirmation both email and SMS. But 1 hrs before the scheduled car delivery the car company and delivery person asking for hard copy of DL as I was shocked to know this as after launch of digilocker & mparivahan app mostly people don't carry physical copy as digital is acceptable.
Now I have requested the car company that don't have the hard copy but I can share the DL via digilocker or mparivahan but car company says they don't accept the documents through the digilocker or mpari app. But I told them that since it is government of India with legally backed so it's valid all over India but again they don't care.

While booking I have just payed advance booking and pending amount to be paid after delivery. Due to DL hard and digital copy issues they have canceled my booking and blocked my advance booking for refund along with some penlity charges.
What's the solution's now?
Now I want my advance money back first then I will claim compensation for harrassment later.

kindly share needful suggestions by 10 AM tomorrow.

You issue a legal notice to the dealer through a lawyer narrating the incidents and demand refund of your advance amount in full within seven days and inform that you will approach consumer redressal commission or civil court for recovery of the advance amount if he is not complying with the demand made.

Consult a local lawyer and proceed

thank you advocate sir. Should I first go with police complain just for proper solid proofs?

The police may not be of much help, instead you follow the legal route directly.

You can consult a local lawyer, discuss the details and decide further course of action.

Sir what about e-dakhil?

Legal notice to the party is a must even before filing through e-dakhil portal.

Thank you sir. What's the success of e-dakhill & as per my case what's of getting my money back?

The success will depend on how properly and strongly you pursue the matter for recovery.
