Why Not? The imputation and its effect is the question to be considered?

I dont understand how cause of action has arisen in jamshedpur because whatever comments passed by raj thakrey were in mumbai and also the defendent stays at mumbai.

According to the definitation of Defamation given in I.P.C.  - Whoever, by words either spoken or intended to be read, or by signs or by visible representation makes or publishes any imputation concerning any person intending to harm or knowing or having reason to believe that such imputation will harm the reputation of such person is said to defame that person.

Because what the Raj said is heard or seen in every part of India so I think it is a continous crime and every Court of India who have judicial power to see such type of cases have jurisdiction over it.
