What is judicial stamp (court fee label)

Respected Lawyers,

While going thru IGR Maharashtra guidelines for obtaining certified copy of a registered document, the guideline says.

It is necessasry to supply Judicial Stamp (Court Fee Label) of Rs 20 for each certified copy.

I am not too sure what is meant by Judicial Stamp Court fee label. Is it the court fee stamp (the small stamp sized) for Rs 20 or a Judicial stamp paper (A4 sized) of Rs 20?

Any clarification would be nice to know.

Link to the guidelines.. https://igrmaharashtra.gov.in/pdf/SARATHI_Eng.pdf    Page 61 Que 6

Thanks and regards,

Rajesh

Dear querist,

Judicial court fees can be affixed using court fees lable or stamp paper. For convenience you can affixe lable.

Respected Lawyers,

Thanks for your helpful answers. Just to be clear is the attached photo an example of Court Fee Label? The stamp just says Court Fee. Word label is not present.

I mean they confusion is because it looks like 'Stamp' & 'Labe'l seem to be interchagibly used.

Thanks again & best regards.

If you want certified copies then you have to submit prescribed court fee stamp paper in office to obtain certified copies.

Contact concerned officer.

It's a procedural query not a dispute for consideration and obligation of experts.
