Aurangabad, Jun 1 (PTI) Two incidents of rape, including that of a minor, were reported in Vaijapur tehsil here creating shockwaves across the district, police said.

A married woman was raped by a neighbour identified as Vikram S Thorat in Kadamvasti locality while she was sleeping alone in her home late last night, they said.

The victim registered a case with the Veergaon police station today, police said, adding Thorat has been arrested.

In an other incident, a minor girl was abducted and raped by two persons in Jambergaon village.

The accused -- Sudam Sathe and Bhagwan Sathe allegedly took the victim to a secluded place and raped her late last night, police said adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab the duo.
