Where to initiate action: in co-op court or sub registrar

Greetings to all Eminent Lawyers,

To put it in a nutshell :

1.) The society where I practice is charging me higher maintenance charges than others.

2.) The accounts of the societies are not properly maintained.

I wish to initiate legal action against the society.  Please let me know where do I initiate legal action ?  Is it in the co-operative court or is it before the sub-registrar of the co-operative societies ?

I am based in Andheri East, Mumbai.

Hope to see lots of replies and many thanks in advance for the same.

Yours Sincerely,

Dr. Veerendra Darakh.

1. For disputes (higher maintenance), you can prefer to file dispute application in the Coop. Court, since the Coop. Registrar has no jurisdiction in such issues.

2. For Accounts irregularities /misappropriation of funds etc.... move complaint application before the local ward Coop. Registrar for inquiry and relevant prosecution.  The Coop. Court has no jurisdiction in such issues.
