Wife in husband house

Can wife stay with husband under same roof in different - 2 portion of the house?

Her staying in husband house has any drawback in divorce and maintenace case.

Provide complete details. Who has applied fr divorce, on what grounds. Other cases b/w the couple? Children? Wife's earning? In whose name is the house?
