A deed can be registered within four months from the day of its execution.
As such, a sale deed executed one year back cannot be registered in a sub-registrar office.
If you are going to register it, contact the sub-registrar in person, tell the facts.
If the date of purchase of stamp paper and the actual date of execution coincide, the SR may get convinced.
Then there wont be any problem in correcting the date in the deed by ink and then register it.

the typographical error in the sale deed can be corrected only with the permission of Registrar.
visit some local lawyer who is managing work on administrative side and proceed as per procedure prescribed.
