Apply for anticipatory bail.

Arrest is not mandatory provision any more.
Cooperate with investigation.
I donot know if you did and likely to buy for it.
In that case, citing misuse of this provision, you may go for anticipatory bail however the timings are to be dictated by lawyer who attends the case.

NO FACTS OF THE CASE ARE STATED.

1. The complaint case u/s 498A IPC is tried by JMIC and not Sessions Court.

2. You have not given any facts of the case.

3. If you are contesting (not fighting) the case u/s 498A IPC in the Court, if we accept your statement, which is unbelievable, the court shall not order to take you in custody and send you to jail. However, what is the opinion and advise of your advocate.

4. Prima facie it is an academic and hypothetical query.
