About sattlement arrears.

Dear Expert,

My union had signed MOU with company for salary hike. It was done on 5th february 2016. It was signed 11 month late. So as per our Sattlement 11 month arrears to be given by company. My question is that in how many days that company should give us our arrears. What is it's legal deadline.

There is no deadline for the same unless the period is mentioned. If the company does not pay arrears then you can raise industrial dispute and seek redress.

Thanku sir for ur reply.
Some union members said that comany is bound to give arrears within 30 to 45 days of period.
Is that true or not?

If no time limit is mentioned in the MOU / agreement, company not bound to pay in 30 days.
