absconding case

hi,

I had joined a company on December 1, 2015. and due to work pressure I wanted to leave the job after 10 days. but they told me to continue for a month atleast and I did till I got my salary. after that I stoped going there without informing them. and so they sent me a message stating that they'll raise a absconding case...also they had given me an offer letter and I had submitted few documents for mediclaim and p. f.
can you please tell me that do I have to send a resignation letter.
do they charge a fine or case against me.
what is the minimum notice period for me to serve.

As pointed out by Mr. N.J.S.Rajkumar, what is the reason for query after 1 year!

It is wrong on part of employee to abscond.

You could have very well resigned under proper acknowledgment.

The employer can very well insert in its internal records that you were contacted and you did not respond and absconded.

It can even record termination.

So it was better to send resignation by post.

If you have sent send a copy by email and obtain acceptance and relieving.

It shall not be good option to conceal this employment in employment applications and affidavits in future.

Close the chapter once for all.
