'A' and 'B' are brothers (siblings). B is staying in house owned by A. A has given a letter to the housing society to this effect.
The understanding between the brothers is that while A will continue to be the owner of the house, B can stay as long as he wishes to. B does not pay any rent to A, but pays all the society charges, maintenance, etc.
The issue here is that B does not have any document whereby he can use A's house for the purpose of his address proof.
What sort of documentation should be executed between A and B so that B is able to have the A's house address on his (i.e. B's) Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook, etc.

Even if "B" is not paying any rent to "A", for adjustment purpose ie., only address proof, it is better to execute a "Rental Agreement" in between A and B, so B can show that schedule house is his residential address for proof.

Apart from Aadhaar card the Post Office is issuing a Postal id card which would carry the photo and address. For this the Post Office would conduct a verification and issue the same.Approach the post office where you reside.Basing on this you could apply for others. If your brother co operates ask him to include you in the Ration Card or you could apply for one For postal id no documents required

Since your brother has given a letter to society, you may take a letter from your society that you are living in the apartment and on this basis other address proofs can be issued.
The postal address card, and rental agreement are also good avenues.

Thanks for the advise.
I presume that A and B can have a leave and licence agreement for a notional amount, say, Re. 1 per annum and deposit of Re. 1.
I also understand that the leave and licence agreement can be done for a maximum of 5 years. Is that so?
If so, what will be the stamp duty payable on such 5 year leave and licence agreement for notional amounts as above?
Is there any minimum stamp duty amount payable?
