I was married in Jan 2011
separated in may 2011
she is BE chemical but currently not doing job.
I’m Mechanical engg doing job but not admitted in court. Also they even not provided any evidence abt my job
she expecting maintenance = 10000.
Before marriage she was doing job. After marriage to separation she was not doing any job.
After separation, she joined one job and left job after 6 months and before filing crpc 125
During her cross she was admitted that before marriage she was doing job. But denied of after marriage. (she lied in court)
I have submitted both of her job proofs in my cheaf....
During my cross her lawyer lady asked me
__whether petitioner was working before marriage? Yes
__After marriage till separation was she in servicing No
__Do you have any documentary proof whether she is working ? NO
she lied in court abt doing job after marriage. But after providing my evidences about her past two jobs. She submitted her resignation letter of second job in court during my cross .... even if her evidences was closed earlier.
My question My argument was she lied in court... came with unclean hands But her lawyer had already ask me that “After marriage till separation she was not in servicing
So is it mean that she is not lying ? her lawyers is argued that milord “after separation she was servicing” not after marriage till separation. Petitioner was not lied.

if wife had been working earlier and is well qualified she wont be entitled to maintenance . in your case wife is highly qualified engineer . she left her job so that she could claim maintenance .

there is no evidence on record of the fact that wife was working after marriage . if she was not working after marriage till both of you separated there is no suppression of facts

She may have been lying but you could not rove the same. Without proof such lies has no relevance.
Her past employment is of little consideration.
I regret without proof of her current employment you will have to bear her maintenance.
