The statement given before police is not legally valid neither it is enforceable.
Therefore you either approach police itself directly or approach court for relief and remedy.
kavksatyanarayana (Expert) 26 January 2025
As the settlement is signed in the presence of the Police, you shall consult the police in the matter.
Dr. J C Vashista (Expert) 27 January 2025
An agreement made out of court cannot be enforced.
Besides this, agreement is voluntary act of the parties, which has no legal force, however, it may taken in evidence of a case as "admission" on the part of other party.

The settlement done between parties in the police station is not legally valid or enforceable.
You cannot rely upon it to conduct your case.
