Amount DEBITED from SBH DebitCard - Delay in service

Dear Experts!!
One and Half month back an amount of 7000/- debited from my account - SBH.
after several complaints,i got response from the bank employee that, it was BANKS MISTAKE.
but still they have not refunded my amount.
Can you please suggest me something which banks will not repeat of this type again to any of the customer.

Dear Sir!!
1)Bank staff are asking me to have patience, they are saying that if i go legally like consumer court or lok adlat they are saying that my Money will not come soon.
2)by your advice any way i want to go legally, but suggest me Lok adalat or Consumer forum. which is quicker?
3)can i file it in Vijayawada? because i am going to relocate to vijayawada. my account is with SBH , Shanti Nagar, Hyderabad.

You can file a case for deficiency of service damages, mental agony and costs before consumer forum, even after the money is debited to you. Hence you can wait for the same.
A quick alternative to you is to file a complaint through internet. Find SBI official web site, and in the services or complaints page register your complaint with all the details. I am sure, it will have its effect and your complaint reaches the top brass of the bank. So that you will receive a reply from the bank and also the branch acts quickly.
