sir thes is srisailam, my father had two wifes,im the second son of his wife, my father had Ancestral property and gaved me 520 sqyards as a gift deed on 2005, i made a sale deed to other person on year 2006.
now the problem is my fathers first wife- daughter age 45 years married on 1979, she sent me a notice on 2008 recently in that she mentioned that she is going to appel to cancel my gift deed. she want an equal share in thes property.
So, wat do i do now? im i in problem? do thes case effects me.. plz help me out..

hi this is mahesh advocate first we should know that whether second marriage is valid or not because when the first marriage is valid and 1st wife has not given divorce to your father then the second marriage is void (not valid) if second marriage is not valid than srisailum has no right in the property. give me more information regarding first marriage andsecond marriage?

if you have the gift deed which must be proper, then you need not worry. But remeber, your father can gift only his share in the propery and not more than his share. evry successors shall have equal share under Hindu laws.
If he has gven his own share to you , then you need not worry.
