yes. Sec 6 of the Hindu succession act is amended: By this amendement the daughter of coparcener shall by birth become in her own right in the smae manner as the son, she wil have the same rights in the coparcenary property s she would have had if she ahd been a son. Daughter is equal to son, she also becomes the coparceners. Even if she is married she is entittle for equal share in the ancestral properties of her father.

Sec 6 Hindu succession act is amended which came into force in the year 2005. As per the amended act daughter is also co parcener she has got right of partition in the ancestral property.
