It's better to be a child than a rude person. I dont post queries for amusement but only for serious problems for which I obtained an answer and I'm grateful. I appreciate the valuable time of Sri Narasimha without rubbishing my query, regardless of how trivial it might seem to an expert. Thanks you too Sri Makkad for spending time to read and respond.

If the wife has taken away the child to some other place during the pendency of child custody case and during the effective period of visitation rights granted to the petitioner, and the respondent not allowing the petitioner to visit the child despite the court order, then the petitioner can approach the same court with a petition seeking an action against the respondent for contempt of court.
However if a judgment is passed in favor of the respondent and the aggrieved petitioner wants to prefer an appeal against the judgment, he can approach high court against the judgment passed by the family court.
