Article 14 of our Indian Constitution stress the need for Equality before Law. The State cannot deny to any person equality before or the equal protection of laws or discrimination on the grounds of religion, race, caste ,sex or place of birth.
Hence it goes without saying even if the person is suffering from any disease he has to be treated at par. Law is very clear on this aspect Mr.Kale.

Under the circumstances the equality here means the equal opportunity to get treated at par / equally with other patients. The equity is to be given reasonably. You can not give equal opportunity to the Graduates and illiterate in attempting the Civil services exam.
