Assault a defence person on duty

i am a sailor in indian navy. while carrying out my duties as security-in-charge in a main entrance gate of naval residence area (Navy Nagar, Colaba, Mumbai).i requested a person to take a path meant for pedestrian as he was coming out of the gate meant for vehicle. he denied and continued to come out but when i asked him to stop he identified himself as a commission officer and started abusing me and slapped me in my face. In self defense i to kicked him. Now as i am a sailor i think i may not get justice. so i want advice on who can i get justice once i become a civilian(ex-serviceman)after 2 months as i m taking voluntary retirement. i have 4 eye witness with me and can manage to get the video footage of CC tv Camera

take video footage of cc camera for your safety. in case any inquiry takes place you can rely upon video footage

u can file complaint with local police station and if they dnt act upon than can file complaint before criminal court at ballard pier . but since the offence is committed during the time when u were in service, u cannt file later also and need to take help of u r service rule only

since both of you belong to the defence services, the relevant navy act will apply. you can file a complaint now since the cause of action has occurred now and can't wait for 2 months to pass by .ur witnesses and the cctv footage would be of evidentiary value to support you.

refer to my earlier query , i was supposed to be out of service 0n 31 jul 12 on completion of my initial engagement. but the Naval Headqartrs extended my service for two months withot my concent to carry out Summary of trials. In the investigation i was charged with Qarelling/fighting and disorderly behaviour. I did not plead guilty but i was awarded punishment (removal of my good conduct badge and stoppage of leave for 25 days).now i want to know are the charges against me valid.

your case will be dealt as per the provisions of the naval act. offences and punishments as applicable therein will apply.
