Authorised deductions from Bonus

Dear Expert,
If an employee leaves the company and his bonus dues are credited to his Full & Final settlement (FFS) account. Can the Bonus amount be adjusted against excess issue of pay & allowances,or any other authorised amounts debited in the FFS account and net balance released to the employee?riven

Yes. There is no specific previlage attached with Bonus. This amount is released by employer from his own pocket and if his legally enforceable debt remains toewards his leaving employee, he can certainly deduct in FFS account even our of amount of bonus credited.riven
