it haS DESignated this profession as a noble one. we are bound to foolow some professional ethics and i love these rules, but in absence of proper awareness amongst us, generallly in lower courts, we do not follow the same.
we are liable to the bar only if some misconduct happens.that implies we are better aware of the pros and cons related o us as a whole.
the word used for us is"officer of the court" which really gives amazing feeling since we are one of the most important pillar of the judiciary.
we are the saviour of the society.

yes I do agree to that, but what I see in the act and the beauty of this act is that, the creation of fraternity of this profession. No matter what one is, we are all one like one huge family and that is the beauty I see in this act.

Rajesh Sir,
yes, i am not disputing you rather you are absolutely right in your comments and thank you for the same. But see this. I am associated with Rotary Club of my home town, and even in such club bylaws does not give us any rights except privileges and the limitation of being a member etc, with limitation imposed by the RI. Likewise Advocates need no rights excepts our privileges and the limitations in our actions by giving rights and power via the court and to check our actions through statutory body like the BCI.But the unity created by this act from J&K to Kanyakumari and from Gujjurat to Nagaland we are bind together as one and that is the beauty I see in this act.Otherwise yes, I agree with your stand.

In State Orissa v.Nalinikantha Muduli(AIR 2004 SC 4272) the SC pointed out that members of the Bar are officers of the Court and that they have a bounden duty to assist the Court and not mislead it.This ruling is upheld the real beauty of the profession.
