(Querist) 10 December 2013 This query is : Resolved
Hello everyone. I want to know that if a person donate an amount to a trust for a specific purpose by way of a will. What is the procedure for that Trust to do to accept the amount.

Does the Trust to whom the donation is made, have to make any applications to the Charity Commissioner or the Executors of the will have to make applications for informing the Charity Commissioner?

Please help.

dear client...
If the trust is allowed to seek donation then no such formalities has to be made.

If in accordance to the bye-laws of the trust such donation can be accepted, no need to approach charity commissioner.
