The house I am living belonged to mother (who recently passed away). she has not left any will. My father had passed away way before my mother. I am the only child of parents. I have been told to get the property registered in my name by approaching the court by some relatives. Though, I do not have any idea on how much it is going to cost, etc. Could you please give me details how to go ahead and give me how much it may cost ( a estimate) as I do not have very high paying salary.
Thank you in advance.

Hello I'm starting my career fresh out of college and have landed my first job and this will be the first financial year I'll be taxed in. I work in the legal profession but have nothing to do nor have a very good understanding with finance and taxation laws as that isn't my area of focus.
On discussing my role with the company and their HR, a situation has arisen about the status quo of my hiring in the company and the higher ups have taken some time to discuss this internally and have told me they'll set a meeting up in a few days where all of us can then finalize on the offer.
Essentially I can be hired, either as a retainer where I don't accrue any employee benefits provided under the labour laws of India and get taxed at the source, making it much more transparent and presumably lesser or be taken on as an employee with all the benefits that come with it along with the taxes that are charged on the various aspects of my income whether they be bonuses or perks and allowances.
The income slab that I fall under is 15% of my total income above the lower threshold and an additional Rs. 37500. No matter how much I try to wiggle around I can't lower my slab with the available deductions so I'm genuinely confused as to what manner of hiring should I go forward with that will net me the most amount with the lowest taxation so I can focus on my savings. I also don't have any additional sources of income at the moment so the income from my job will be the only amount for consideration.
Any help, guidance and suggestions will truly be appreciated and go a long way. Thanks in advance.
In Tamilnadu, my wife is applying for succession certificate for her father's Bank deposits.
We wish to know Whether 3% Court fees becomes payable along with application for succession certificate or it can be paid when certificate is issued.
Our advocate says per amended Tamil Nadu Court fees act 2018, Court fees needs to be paid along with petition.
As amount is substantial, around Rs 25000/-, me being in a tight finance situation now, I am seeking your valuable information to see if I can gain some time.
Dear Sir(s),
can a will be challenge on the ground of fake medical certificate .
My father in law made a will in his lifetime , he bequeathed his major part of property to his grand son (daughter's son- daughter is expired ) leaving us only one flat to be divided by 2 sons . the only fault in this will is that the medical fitness certificate provided in the will is back dated and the same is corrected and made with the current date . when the will was made , before 8days of the date of the will father in law was admitted in the hospital and after 10 days he got discharge. and after that the will was made and executed . And it was but obvious no doctor can tender the medical fitness in such situation . My query is that can the will be challenge under this circumstances. Will is filed in the court for letter of administration of administration. Summons is served to my big brother in law but not to us . Grandson filed the case in the year December 2018. Still it is on the stage of Awaiting Summons.
Please suggest us a way to fight .
Plz suggest a way
Do private hospital can charge 15% service or administrative charge over the hospitalisation bill, in Gujarat I observed that hospital charging 10 to 20 % as service or administrative charges even in cash of cashless mediclaim service. My father was hospitalized in Bhai Lal Amin general hospital Vadodara, it was cashless mediclaim hospitalisation but hospital charges 15% service charges under cashless claim which medical insurance not paid and we have to pay this from our pocket, though in Delhi and uttar Pradesh there is no such charges, Kindly advise do hospital charge administrative charges or Service charge
Renting a property for medical clinic
Hi Experts,
We have a small property(3 floors in 33x40 size plot) suitable for running a clinic and medical shop.
We are warned by our relatives about tenant rights and tenants harassing the landlords.
So, we are a bit worried to rent the property.
1. Is there a safe option to rent out the property for clinic without any worry?
2. Though I believe in "all humans are equal", if I need to rent it out to a person belonging to SC/ST category, do we need to take any precautions w.r.t documentation?, given that SC/ST atrocity cases are severe.
Thanks in Advance
