40 years later can any of the relative claim for a property

thanks for ur suggestion MR. MANISH SINGH AND MR. RAJEEV VADRALI,
i would like clear some point,at the time of partition in r family my father was unmarried.even if my father transfered the property to my grandfather, the title remained on my fathers name untile he died, after that in the presence of of my grandfather the title came on r name. my grandfather new this fact. he never claimed for the property untile he died. there were some other properties on his name which v were never aware of. we didnt get a share of other properties which my relatives possesed.

absense of insurable interest

I purchased a old car & RC was transfered in my name but insurance policy is still in the name of previous owner whereas registration certificate has transferred in my name,unfortunaly this car met with an accident & i lodged claim for damages but insurance co. repudiated my claim stating that as the insurance policy is still in the name of previous owner whereas RC has transferred in the name of subsequent owner,hence no insurable intertest & claim file closed.I have listen that now insurance goes with vehicle & i m still entitled being registered owner of vehicle to get my claim ..Plz help me.riven

other than the common defences that could raise such as
1. capitalisation of interest
2. penal interest
3. other hidden charges
4. non furnishing of proper stattement

what other defenses which we could raise in a suit for recovery of amount due filed by a bank ?riven
