@Ms.Usha Kapoor:
Once again you have not understood the problem.
The querist has been able to get the name which was wrongly mentioned in the certificate as Sadhika to the correct name of Radhika, which correction was done by the authorities manually. Her query is though in the physical certificate the correction has been effected manually, still in the data base the correction has not been effected with the result it still shows the name wrongly as Sadhika instead of Radhika.
She wants to know, how to get the correction effefced in the Data Base, so that the name in the manual certificate is in sync with that appearing in the data base.
Your reply, does not provide any solution to her problem.
According to me, the querist has to write (Through Registered Post - and keep record of the documents and postal receipts, postal tracking report etc. for future reference) to the CBEC or corresponding authorities, by providing all the proof as to how her name has been wrongly spelt, how manual correction has been effected by the authorities on the certificate, and requesting for effecting the correction in the data base also. She should relentlessly and periodically pursue with the authorities. If nothing is done say within 3 or 6 months, then she should ascertain through RTI the action taken on her representation.

No solution can be expected from absent minded person, as already proved in several of her replies. She just pass time by making irrelevant posts, irrespective of whether right, wrong or misleading to the query writer. She only takes any text or link from google and post without applying her mind, what actually is the requirement of the query writer.

The facts posted are less than convincing. SSC certificate is issued by the Board. How the school authorities can correct it?
In fact, more than a correction it amounts to tampering a public record. It has been issued to you. And you alone are expected to be in its sole possession; you would be held responsible for the tampering.

IT is CBSE or CBEC in your case?

There can't be any difference in procedure, whether the certificate relates to the CBSE or CBEC. You may apply to the Board concerned, as the school was not authorised to make any manual correction in the certificate issued by the concerned Board.

Quite vague and irrelevant posts made by Mr. Kumar Doab, a fake expert with unreal name.
Question arises, what Mr. Kumar Doab will do with the ID of Ms. Radhika, if she posts her query with her ID, when she has already revealed her name, as Radhika.
Further, what difference that makes, if it is CBSE or CBEC? Is there any different procedure to get the name corrected on certificate by each organization? If Mr. Kumar Doab knows the procedure or the difference, he should have given his advice, instead of making totally frivolous posts.

Initially you should write to CBSE as well as School authorities to correct your name in their record. Wait for about a fortnight or so then seek professional services of a local lawyer for issuance of legal notice followed by a suit seeking permanent and mandatory injunction from District Judge.
Beware of the advise of so called "experts", who do not know abc of the case in hand but not more than copy paste person(s).
