From your post it appears that you are yet to sit for government exam and yet to get a job.
Therefore, you will be well advised to concentrate on your examination instead of thinking anything else.
Yes, one can get tour name changed (shortened, broadened, changed completely etc.), but it will take time and inspite of having done such name change, all the school certificates, college certificates will still carry your old name and they cannot be changed will create problems for you.
Therefore, my sincere advice would be not to try any such name change exercise.

Yes. Name can be changed by duly following the prescribed procedure i.e., publication in the news papers, making an affidavit, Gazette notification etc.

The advises of experts seems to be suitable. One can change his or her name as per his own decision at any time by following the requisite procedures for it, so you can decide about it accordingly. But please remember that the name inthe certificates cannot changed by this.
