hello sir
my father had got the share of land (1024 sq ft)from his father as huf settlement and another half (1024 sq ft ) for his younger brother .
1. how to register tomy father name.
2.how much cost it would be incur
3.what are legal procesing required
4.patta is in my grand mother name
5.both grandfather and grandmother are died recent year

If your father and your uncle are the only legal heirs of your grandparents then there is no specific need to get registered and inheritance in the revenue record is got entered on moving an application to the local Talati/Patwari annexed with the death certificate of your grandfather and an affdavit to the effect that none other than deponents is the legal heir of the deceased. Due entries shall be made in the revenue record in equal share as sought in the quarry.
Otherwise, a family settlement involving all other legal heirs can be got executed through civil court.
