Changing name in sslc marks card

Hi sir,
Please tell me the procedure for changing the name in sslc marks card. Actually I was passed sslc in 2006 and my name is 'Pavan Kumar B U' but in marks card they had given like "Pavana Kumar B U". I want to apply for passport. Please suggest me.

And I have correct name in all the documents like Pan card, adhar card and in degree marks card

your query is not on law rather it is on procedure. ask board office.

Have you applied for passport and have they objected?

If it is an error crept in the records of the SSLC board, take up the matter with them and ask for rectification.
